Glass greenhouses in northern China require heating during winter, otherwise they cannot be produced during the winter season. The duration of greenhouse heating varies, with heating taking approximately 5 to 6 months in Northeast China and 3 to 5 months in North China. Planting flowers or seedlings in southern regions also requires heating or temporary warming.
1. Hot water heating, the hot water heating system consists of three basic parts: a hot water boiler, a heating pipe, and a heat dissipation device. Its working process is to heat water with a boiler, and then pressurize it with a water pump. The hot water is supplied to the radiator inside the greenhouse through the heating pipe, and is heated by the radiator to increase the temperature of the greenhouse. The cooled hot water returns to the boiler for reheating and repeats the cycle. The hot water heating system operates stably and reliably, and is the most commonly used heating method for glass greenhouses.
2. Hot air heating, the hot air heating system consists of a heat source, an air heat exchanger, a fan, and an air supply duct. The working process is as follows: the heat provided by the heat source heats the air exchanger, and a fan is used to force some of the air inside the greenhouse to flow through the air heat exchanger, so as to continuously circulate and heat the greenhouse. The heat source of a hot air heating system can be fuel, gas, coal-fired devices or electric heaters, as well as hot water or steam. The installation form of hot air heating equipment varies depending on the heat source. The air heat exchanger of steam, electric or hot water heating system is installed inside the greenhouse and directly provides hot air in conjunction with the fan. Fuel and gas heating devices are installed inside the greenhouse, and the smoke from combustion is emitted into the greenhouse. Coal fired hot air stoves are generally bulky and dirty during use, and are usually installed outside the greenhouse. In order to evenly distribute hot air in the greenhouse, the ventilation fan sends hot air into the ventilation duct.
3. Electric heating, the most common method of electric heating is to bury geothermal wires underground to increase ground temperature, mainly used for greenhouse seedling cultivation. Electricity is the cleanest and most convenient energy source, but as a secondary energy source, it is relatively expensive and can only be used as a temporary heating measure for the short term.
